Schools & Community Projects

Drama Workshops for Schools & Communities

At Inspire New Creative Performing Arts (INCPA), we are passionate about working with schools, youth groups, churches, and community organisations across Croydon, Peckham, Bromley, Dulwich, Chislehurst, London, and Surrey. Our drama and performing arts workshops are designed to educate, inspire, and engage young people while addressing real-life themes that matter to them.

We believe that the performing arts are a powerful tool for learning, self-expression, and social change.

Drama Activities for Schools

We deliver tailor-made school drama workshops that support the curriculum, boost confidence, and help students develop essential communication and teamwork skills.

From storytelling and improvisation in primary schools to scripted scene work and role play in secondary schools, our workshops are creative, inclusive, and interactive. Teachers value our sessions because they not only improve performance skills but also enhance literacy, public speaking, and emotional intelligence.

We also design themed workshops to support special events such as:

  • Black History Month drama workshops
  • Anti-bullying drama projects
  • Cultural diversity and identity sessions
  • Confidence-building and self-esteem workshops

Community Drama Projects

INCPA is proud to deliver community theatre projects that address local issues and give people of all ages a platform to share their voices.

We have worked with young people on anti-knife crime drama projects, supporting them to create original performances that raise awareness and promote positive choices. We also run well-being drama workshops that help reduce social isolation, improve mood, and create stronger community connections.

Our church and faith-based partnerships allow us to bring creativity into spiritual settings, blending poetry, music, and drama with messages of hope, resilience, and empowerment. These projects are particularly powerful for young people, giving them a safe and inspiring space to express themselves.

Inclusive Opportunities

At INCPA, we believe that drama should be for everyone. That’s why our school and community programmes are designed to be autism-friendly, accessible, and inclusive.

We have successfully worked with children with speech and language challenges, additional learning needs, and those lacking confidence, helping them find joy, resilience, and self-belief through the performing arts.
